This glacier is located at 80 kilometres from El Calafate and it is worth mentioning that most of the road has been paved, but the last 24 kilometres (dirt road). First, the road crosses the Patagonian steppe up to the entrance to the national park, where the visitors start to observe the typical vegetation of the Andean Patagonian Forest.
