It is located at just one kilometre from the downtown. The reserve is inhabited by more than 80 birds species, such as: chilean flamingo, black-necked swan, duck, goose, buff necked ibis and the southern lapwing.

The lagoon can be visited on foot, by taxi or the visitor can also rent a car in any of the local companies.
One-hour excursion
